Linux Mint is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. Linux Mint has a more complete out-of-the-box experience than Ubuntu by including proprietary software like Java and the Adobe Flash web browser plugin, which are not installed by default in most Linux distributions. Due to issues with licensing, proprietary drivers for hardware such as wireless cards are not included by default, though they can be downloaded for free after installation.[citation needed] Linux Mint is popular because of its simplified user experience and a Microsoft Windows feel.
